Love this, because I always put pressure on myself to do and accomplish things before I do anything to make myself feel better. I like to paint my nails, read, take walks, listen to a favorite podcast, and drink pineapple Spindrift. Fully admit that I often default to browsing the internet and sometimes online shopping, but I’m trying to be more intentional about both.

I particularly love the giving oneself permission to stop reading a book that you’re just not into. So many times I would force myself through to the last page. What for?

You always write what I need to read. Last night after hour 1 of book proposal bootcamp, I took a bath, cried, watched TV (had popcorn and an apple) and went to sleep. 🛁😭📺🍿🍎💤
