I feel this deeply! First off, congrats on getting married and I hope you can enjoy your time off. I recently have been recovering from the "hustle" and I can promise you that the internet will for sure go on without you, but it will easily let you slide back in when you want to return!
I had that same plan of having newsletters go out automatically while I was on vacation for two weeks in June, but couldn’t find the time before the trip because I was working extra shifts and finishing the penultimate draft of my memoir. I thought to myself that I would just not post those two weeks, that it would be fine, and no one cares. Couldn’t do it. Stole the time to write and post while at sea and in the Air bnb because having a long expanse of days without work for a writer is like having tap shoes on in an empty room with a wooden floor. I just couldn’t not.
I feel you! Also, congrats on the memoir revision. You’re doing the work! It’s so smart that you’re reviewing QuitLit while writing a memoir. Really smart angle.

I could not relate to this more. Enjoy your vacation!!
Thanks, Rachel!

I feel this so much. I find it so hard to just drop it all.
And..... I reply to myself ALL. THE. TIME. It's so damn noisy up in there!
That inner dialogue is so noisy!
I can relate to this so much!
Validating! Thank you
Sooo relatable and sooo common for writers. Loved this.
We’re all in this together! 🫶🏽
