Let the Dry January Games Begin
a list of cool shit to help you stay dry or damp or whatever feels right
I was hella grumpy about Dry January when I was newly sober. I even penned this essay and this one, both referring to Dry January participants as “Sober Tourists.” I’ve since evolved from that view. Now, my work is inclusive AF. Whether you’re newly sober or 12 years in long-term recovery or sober curious or love psychedelics and weed but don’t like booze, you can totally sit with us.
Here’s a list of cool shit to keep you sober or dry or damp or whatever feels right for you this month.
